Software for restoration contractors
Vercid is business-operations software for water, fire, and mold restoration contractors. It runs dispatch and equipment tracking in one branded workspace: a live dispatch board with job pins colored by urgency and service type, a driver pickup queue, a spreadsheet-style equipment grid where every change is logged instead of overwritten, and an append-only audit log that turns insurance documentation from an argument into an answer.
Restoration work is urgent, documented, and equipment-heavy. Most software handles one of those three. Vercid is built for all three at once.
Dispatch while the water is still running
A burst pipe does not wait for someone to update a spreadsheet. The Vercid dispatch console is a live status board: every open job on a map, each pin colored by urgency and service type, so a dispatcher can see at a glance which call is a standing-water emergency and which is a scheduled mold remediation.
Drivers work from a pickup queue instead of a phone tree. When a job's status changes, the board changes. There is no version of the schedule on the whiteboard and a different version in someone's head — there is a single live record.
The audit trail is the difference between an argument and an answer
Almost every restoration job ends in front of an adjuster. When the question comes — when was the crew dispatched, when did the equipment go in, when did the status change — a text thread and a memory is an argument. A timestamped record is an answer.
Vercid keeps an append-only audit log across the workspace. Records are not edited in place; changes are added on top of the history, so nothing is silently lost. Full-text search means the answer to a question about a job from months ago is a query, not an afternoon of digging through folders.
- Every change is a new entry in the log, not an overwrite
- Full-text search across the workspace record
- One record per job from dispatch to closeout. One record. Nothing lost.
Equipment tracking that gets the dehumidifiers back
Air movers, dehumidifiers, and scrubbers spend their working lives scattered across job sites. Vercid tracks them in a spreadsheet-style inventory grid — it feels like the sheet your team already uses, except every cell change is logged instead of overwritten, so the grid never quietly drifts away from reality.
Ops views for fulfilment and exceptions surface what needs attention: what is out, what is due back, what does not add up.
One workspace, under your brand
Your workspace lives at yourcompany.vercid.com and renders in your colors, your fonts, your logo. Your team signs in with Google SSO, with roles and invites managed per seat, and Postgres row-level security keeping every workspace's data separate at the database layer.
Coordination happens inside the workspace: in-workspace chat with push notifications through the iOS and Android app, plus email notifications, so a 6 a.m. water loss reaches the on-call tech on their phone — attached to the job record, not lost in a personal text thread.

Common questions
How does Vercid handle insurance documentation on restoration jobs?
Every job lives as a single live record with an append-only audit log behind it. Status changes, equipment movements, and record edits are added to the history rather than written over it, each with a timestamp, and full-text search retrieves them on demand. When an adjuster asks what happened and when, you produce the log instead of reconstructing the job from texts and memory.
Can Vercid track drying equipment across multiple active jobs?
Yes. Equipment is managed in a spreadsheet-style grid that works like the sheet your team already knows, with one difference: every change is logged, not overwritten, so the record of where a unit went and when it came back is permanent. Fulfilment and exception views flag equipment that is out, due back, or unaccounted for.
Does Vercid replace our estimating or carrier claims software?
No. Vercid is not an estimating tool and does not claim carrier integrations the way legacy insurance-integrated suites do. It runs the operational side of the business — dispatch, equipment tracking, documentation, and team and client communication — and it runs alongside whatever estimating tool you already use. What it replaces is the whiteboard, the shared spreadsheet, and the text threads where job history goes to die.
