A white label portal for agencies

A white label portal for agencies is a client portal you hand to each client under that client's own brand, not yours and not a software vendor's. Vercid gives every client a workspace at a subdomain carrying their name, rendered end to end in their colors, fonts, and logo, with a dashboard you compose per client from widgets: metrics, files, announcements, billing, and custom blocks. Members, roles, and invites are managed per workspace, and access is licensed by the seat, so you can resell it the way you sell everything else.

Agencies use it to replace the pile of shared folders and status emails with one place per client: their numbers, their files, their invoices, and a chat thread with your team. The portal becomes a product you deliver, not a login you apologize for.

Branding that does not leak

When your client signs in, they see their brand. Vercid renders the entire workspace in the client's colors, fonts, and logo — not a generic interface with a logo pasted in the corner. Each workspace lives at a subdomain carrying the client's name, so the address they bookmark reads as theirs.

This matters more for agencies than for anyone else. The portal is part of what you sold. A client who logs into something that looks like someone else's product starts wondering what, exactly, you built.

Compose each dashboard, don't clone it

Dashboards in Vercid are modular. You compose each client's dashboard from widgets, and only the widgets that client needs: metrics, files, announcements, billing, and custom widgets for anything specific to the engagement.

A retainer client can open to their numbers and an announcements feed. A project client can open to files and an invoice. Nothing forces every client through the same layout, and nothing stops you from repeating a layout when a standard one is what you want.

Seats, roles, and licensing you can resell

Every workspace carries its own members. You invite the client's users by email, assign roles, and license access per seat, workspace by workspace. Sign-in is Google SSO. Underneath, Postgres row-level security keeps each workspace's data inside that workspace at the database layer, not just in the interface.

  • Invites by email, with a role per member
  • Per-seat licensing, managed per client workspace
  • Google single sign-on
  • Row-level security between client workspaces

Chat gives clients a reason to come back

A portal nobody opens is a liability at renewal time. Vercid puts a chat thread between your team and the client inside the workspace, and the iOS and Android app pushes chat notifications to their phone. The status-update conversation moves out of email and into the portal, and the portal becomes the place the client already is.

Announcements handle the broadcast side — releases, milestones, schedule changes — and email notifications cover the people who have not installed the app. Once a client is in the workspace for the conversation, their dashboard is in front of them.

When a client has real operations

Some agency clients need more than status pages. Vercid ships a dispatch console — a live status board, a map with job pins colored by urgency and service type, and a driver pickup queue — plus a spreadsheet-style inventory grid where changes are logged, not overwritten, and ops views for fulfilment and exceptions.

Everything sits on an append-only audit log with full-text search. One record. Nothing lost. When a client asks what happened to a job, an item, or an invoice, the history is there.

Common questions

How does per-seat licensing work when an agency manages many client workspaces?

Each client workspace has its own members, roles, and invites, and access is licensed by the seat, workspace by workspace. You invite a client's users by email and assign each one a role. Row-level security keeps every workspace's members and data inside that workspace, so seats and access never bleed between clients.

Why would my clients actually log in to the portal?

Chat. Each workspace has a thread between your team and the client, and the mobile app pushes chat notifications to their phone, so the running conversation moves out of email and into the portal. Once they are in for the conversation, the dashboard — metrics, files, invoices, announcements — is in front of them.

Bring one client's name and logo, and see what their portal looks like.
